Earthquakes, as the belly rumbles

Death tolls unknown and thousands left injured, alone or buried by the largest earthquake to hit Port-au-Prince in hundreds of years, a world desperately awaits news of any recent developments from the island nation. With phone lines down, power out, hospitals in states of destruction and chaos, bridges and roads destroyed lines of communication are few and far between.

While we wonder of whereabouts and safety of loved ones, family members and a nation of strangers, earthquakes continue to rock the planet at almost fifteen minute intervals.

Ranging on the Richter Scale from 2.5 to some at almost a 6.0 in Magnitude, these tremors have been reported in such areas as inland North America, Iran, Bolivia, Mexico and Puerto Rico with repeating aftershocks in areas of Haiti, Tongo and Indonesia.

May the world unite and pray, our hearts and hands outstretch for all those affected by this planetary state of emergency. Then in the form of angels, may those of us that can not be there to help come down from the heavens to assist you.
